Position OverviewAs a Quality Engineering Director within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA.
Job Description- Sets and governs the quality engineering strategy, ensuring aligment to enterprise priorities and comprehensive end to end testing across programs.
- Establishes and enforces standards and operating models for test execution and environment coordination, holding teams accountable for consistent execution and adherence to quality metrics. Serves as a subject matter expert to guide solution development
- Proactively identifies systemic risks, gaps and quality deficiencies and directs cross-functional resulution efforts by mobilizing Quality Engineering leaders, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
- Owns enterprise quality performance, leveraging defect metrics, trend analysis, and post-production insights to set expectations, drive accountability, and continuously improve delivery outcomes.
- Leads the advancement of Quality Engineering practices by institutionalizing continuous improvement, embedding best practices, and driving adoption of modern testing methodologies across the organization.
- Reviews workforce and capability strategy for Quality Engineering, including resource planning, leadership development, and budget alignment, while fostering a high-performing organization and advancing adoption of emerging industry trends within deliery teams.

Work ExperienceRoles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
