Full Job Description
Summary: The Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager is responsible for establishing and implementing quality assurance and compliance processes within the IT organization. This role involves collaborating with IT leaders to develop a comprehensive quality maturity roadmap and plans for each IT functional area, ensuring that compliance and quality control standards are met effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement quality assurance and compliance processes for the IT organization.
  • Collaborate with IT leaders to develop and implement a quality maturity roadmap for each IT functional area.
  • Work with development, testing, and production teams to develop, publish, and implement software quality assurance plans.
  • Review progress towards the quality plans with IT leaders, technical teams, and customers, making necessary modifications.
  • Establish internal IT service quality control standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor, evaluate, manage, and execute audit processes to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate and facilitate quality assurance activities across projects with project managers.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to IT teams on QA methodologies and processes.
  • Direct improvements to the software development lifecycle process.
  • Document non-compliance issues and assist in their resolution.
  • Analyze and identify trends in IT performance metrics.
  • Design, monitor, and analyze performance metrics programs for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct audits and develop corrective action recommendations based on findings.
  • Provide training on established processes and policies.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of IT and business experience, with at least 5 years in Quality Assurance.
  • 2 to 3 years of audit or assessment experience.
  • Capability to provide strategic direction and integrated solutions for enterprise-wide quality engineering initiatives.
  • Ability to work on projects of high complexity and coach more junior technical staff.
