Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance.
  • Generate and dispose of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Implement Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) including 8D and 5 Whys.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards.
  • Facilitate quality training for staff.
  • Review planning processes for quality assurance.
  • Assist in quality clinics and review non-conforming materials.

Quality Engineer

Defense & Aerospace Manufacturing

Location: South Phoenix, 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040

Shift: Full time, day shift - onsite required

Due to the nature of the work performed in our facilities, all employees must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities:

  • Internal Audits
  • Generate and Disposition NCRs
  • RCCA, 8D, 5 Why, Corrective Actions
  • Supplier compliance
  • Audits
  • Training
  • Performing quality reviews of planning of processes
  • Assist in quality clinics, nonconforming material review and disposition
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of FAIRS, inspection, PPAP, APQP is required
  • Problem solving in a fast pace environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well with a team or independently as needed
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in aerospace field
  • Must meet the US Person requirement due to ITAR

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, preferably Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering etc. Preferred
