Nature of Job Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Support customers and internal teams in resolving quality issues in a systematic manner applying technical expertise and critical problem solving skills
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve internal and customer quality issues.
  • Provide strong technical support to help manage the development of permanent global process optimizations and corrective actions for discreet quality events.
  • Perform trend analysis on quality data to proactively identify defects and lead corrective action initiatives.
  • Possess complete working knowledge of and ensure compliance to in-house and/or external quality specifications and standards; Sanmina QMS, IPC6012 / IPC6013 / IPCA600, ISO9001 / ISO14001, TL9000, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.
  • Perform at a high level of professionalism functioning as a Primary Customer Contact.
  • Be an outspoken advocate for Quality First throughout the plant.
  • Perform other quality related activities as needed.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Engineering is required.
  • PCB Manufacturing or Contract Manufacturing experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Quality or Engineering experience in related field.
  • Working knowledge of the following Quality Management Systems: ISO9001, ISO14001, TL9000, Nadcap.
  • Six Sigma, Lean processes, Certifications in Quality field or technical knowledge required.
  • Experience with quality tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plans, Design of Experiments (DOE), 8D Corrective Action process and verification.
  • Must be able to work well with cross-functional teams to positively resolve internal and external quality issues
  • Previous experience with Military, Defense, ITAR, and IPC Standards is strongly desired.
  • Excellent communication skills (e.g. email, phone, face to face), including manufacturing, engineering, management, and customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Oracle Agile PLM software, and Minitab. Proven ability to adapt to and learn new software systems quickly.
  • Certified Green or Black belt required.
  • Internal audit experience required.

This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

Salary Range (annual) : $82,000.00 - $100,00.00

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
