Job Title: Quality Engineer
Working Pattern: Hybrid/Onsite in office 3 days/week
Working location: Indianapolis, IN

Position Summary:
As a Quality Engineer and part of the Problem Resolution Team (PRT), you will be working closely with our domestic and external supply chains to contain escapes and prevent defects and to provide data and insight into the causes of non-quality.
What you will be doing:
- Leading activities to effectively manage non-conformance and protect the supply chain from Quality escapes
- Provide coaching and support to suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Coaching and supporting problem-solving activities at suppliers
- Providing data and support to the Supply Management Teams to monitor and measure the performance and effectiveness of their external supply chain.
- Identifying opportunities to improve Quality and implementing plans to deliver that improvement
Basic Requirements:
- Associate degree and 4 years of experience in supply chain, engineering, quality or operations, OR
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in supply chain, engineering, quality or operations, OR
- Master's degree in supply chain, engineering, quality or operations, OR
- JD/PhD degree in supply chain, engineering, quality or operations, OR
- 6 years of experience in supply chain, engineering, quality, or operations, in lieu of a degree
- Must be able to travel 10% of the time
- In order to be considered for this role, you must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred:
- Educated in a technical discipline, coupled with a background of working in an operational Quality role
- Good problem solving, data analysis and presentation skills
- Interpersonal savvy, planning and personal organization skills and the ability to influence others
- Demonstrable evidence of business acumen; relating to quality, improvement, manufacturing and HSE activities and priorities
- Knowledge and demonstrable application of Quality and BI tools, i.e., 8D investigation, improvement methodologies
- Able to coach and mentor others
- Strong customer focus
