Position Overview

Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ | CapRock West 202 Logistics 700 N 55th Ave - Suite 100
Pay: $85,000 - $95,000 per year

Role Overview:

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in strengthening our quality assurance ecosystem-developing, implementing, and maintaining robust QA systems that support high-performing products.

You'll analyze data to uncover opportunities for improvement, conduct thorough testing, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure every product meets our highest quality standards.

Components of the role will focus upon:
  • Quality Control Systems: Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and guidelines.
  • Testing and Inspection: Conduct tests and inspections of products and processes to identify defects and ensure they meet technical specifications.
  • Problem Solving: Identify issues in production processes and recommend solutions to improve product quality and performance.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, quality metrics, and compliance records.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and support, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.


To achieve success, you will be expected to showcase the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is typically required.
  • Having relevant work experience in quality engineering or quality systems is essential, 3-5 years in the field.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems, statistical analysis, and testing methodologies is crucial.
  • With a demonstrated eye for detail and accuracy - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary to identify defects and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Language Requirement: English required; Korean language skills highly desirable


❇ It would be beneficial (but not essential) if you also have:
  • Hands-on experience with battery pack or ESS system quality control.
  • Understanding of BMS (Battery Management Systems), PCS (Power Conversion Systems).
  • Experience working with global customers or regulatory compliance for international markets.
  • Certifications in ISO, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or equivalent.
