Primary Objective of Position:- The primary objective for this position is to ensure that products meet or exceed established quality standards and customer-specific requirements. The goal is to identify areas for improvement and implement quality control measures to prevent quality defects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop detailed guidelines for what needs to be verified per our quality standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Collaborates with product development teams to define quality requirements for new products and review design documentation for compliance.
- Identify the root cause of technical issues and recommend fixes.
- Review current blueprints and quality documentation.
- Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
- Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error, and determining levels of confidence.
- Directly involved in planning, development, implementation, communication, and maintenance of Pana Pacific's quality management system.
- Analyze quality data, track performance metrics, and generate reports to provide insights into product quality trends and areas for improvement.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues process improvements and new product introductions.
- Conducts internal audits to assess the effectiveness of Pana Pacific's Quality management system.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Follow ISO and all other applicable procedures and company policies.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations (ISO/TS 16949 or IATF16949)
- Proficiency in conducting inspection tests and measurements, using precision tools and equipment.
Physical Demands:- Physical demands include moving around the manufacturing or production floor to conduct inspections, audits, or tests; this involves walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
Salary range is 75K to 90K. DOE
