Full Job Description
Primary Objective of Position:

  • The primary objective for this position is to ensure that products meet or exceed established quality standards and customer-specific requirements. The goal is to identify areas for improvement and implement quality control measures to prevent quality defects.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed guidelines for what needs to be verified per our quality standards and customer-specific requirements.
  • Collaborates with product development teams to define quality requirements for new products and review design documentation for compliance.
  • Identify the root cause of technical issues and recommend fixes.
  • Review current blueprints and quality documentation.
  • Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
  • Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error, and determining levels of confidence.
  • Directly involved in planning, development, implementation, communication, and maintenance of Pana Pacific's quality management system.
  • Analyze quality data, track performance metrics, and generate reports to provide insights into product quality trends and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues process improvements and new product introductions.
  • Conducts internal audits to assess the effectiveness of Pana Pacific's Quality management system.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Follow ISO and all other applicable procedures and company policies.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations (ISO/TS 16949 or IATF16949)
  • Proficiency in conducting inspection tests and measurements, using precision tools and equipment.


Physical Demands:

  • Physical demands include moving around the manufacturing or production floor to conduct inspections, audits, or tests; this involves walking, standing, bending, and lifting.


Salary range is 75K to 90K. DOE
