Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, or related field)
• 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or a related field
• Knowledge of quality systems, non-conformance processes, and root cause analysis
• Experience in customer negotiation and quality audits
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Conduct part-specific quality planning for new parts
• Develop work instructions based on customer specifications
• Approve part routers in accordance with PCC procedures
• Review and align customer specifications with PCC capabilities
• Evaluate and process all non-conforming material using the RNC system
• Submit non-conformance reports to customers and negotiate dispositions
• Initiate corrective action requests to address quality issues
• Conduct external audits of PCC suppliers to ensure quality standards
• Perform internal audits of PCC processes for improvement
• Act as an authorized Quality Representative for product shipment
• May supervise other engineers or technicians on projects
• Identify and address safety considerations relevant to quality tasks
• Execute annual cost savings projects totaling at least three times salary
