Job Description

As a Quality Engineer III here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability for our aerospace products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, analyzing product data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact product quality and reliability, helping to maintain Honeywell's reputation as a leader in aerospace technology. Your expertise will directly contribute to the safety, performance, and compliance of our products in the aerospace market.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in aerospace or a related manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, tools, and methodologies including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Proficiency with quality management systems (QMS) and standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and other quality tools

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement expertise
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and leading quality improvement projects
