The Big PictureThe Quality Engineer III receives ongoing professional training while participating in the full scope of the department's technical activities. The final developmental position prior to assuming the role and responsibility of a fully trained engineer.
Your Impact Through InnovationTechnical Duties:
- Per Engineer II; with the expectation that the engineer is participating in the department's full scope of technical and documentation activities.
- Review and approval of Quality Management System documents
Decision-making Authority:
- Makes decisions in an area of expertise, and where supported by precedence or clearly defined procedure.
- Interpretations and conclusions are typically reviewed in detail.
Planning Responsibility:
- Participates in project level planning with the leadership team.
- Conducts independent work planning.
- Work plans are reviewed for the impact to project level objectives.
Leadership Authority/Supervision Exercised:
- May provide technical, project level guidance to technicians, engineering assistants or junior engineering staff.
- May provide supervision to technicians and engineering assistants on relevant technical matters that fall within the scope of a project.
- Comply with the Health & Safety policies of the company and inform Management of unsafe working conditions.

Your Unique ExpertiseRequired Skills:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Typically 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated competence as Quality Engineer II or equivalent
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Organization and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office

This role has a base salary range of $73,000 CAD to $90,000 CAD. Final offers are determined based on individual skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors.
