Full Job Description
As a Quality Engineer, you'll enhance our quality management systems, engage in internal auditing, and drive corporate systems initiatives. You'll work with a diverse range of products ranging from metals, foams to thermal plastics, extrusions and more, ensuring the highest standards for complex customer requirements.

What you will do:
  • Ensure effective control plans are established and implemented for manufacturing, inspection and test processes to ensure conformance to specifications and contract requirements.
  • Act as an integrated member of the design and production teams developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
  • Support cross-functional teams in the execution and reporting of quality improvement efforts with a focus on business process improvements, manufacturing process improvements, scrap reduction and supplier quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, managers and production personnel to address product, process and system nonconformities, determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Participate as a member of the internal audit team. Conduct internal audits. Assign and drive corrective action tasks to completion and perform verification / effectiveness reviews as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Working knowledge of the Quality Management System requirements contained within the ISO 9001 standard. A strong working knowledge of the AS 9100 standard requirements is preferred.
  • Experience with quality analysis and problem-solving tools.
  • Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as DMAIC and DMADV is preferred, especially accompanied with Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certifications.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance
