Position Description:

This position can be performed remotely from anywhere within the U.S.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Perform end to end functional testing of core banking applications, with a primary focus on FIS IBS functionality and associated banking processes.
. Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, and expected results.
. Validate core transactions, account processing, customer/account data, and downstream impacts across integrated banking applications.
. Perform comprehensive data validation and reconciliation using SQL, queries, reports, and other analytical techniques to identify discrepancies.
. Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and end to end testing throughout the application delivery lifecycle.
. Develop and execute automated testing where appropriate using Tosca and/or UiPath, while maintaining a strong functional testing focus.
. Document, analyze, and manage defects through resolution, collaborating with developers, business analysts, SMEs, and other QE teams on root cause analysis.
. Apply strong attention to detail to identify data anomalies, processing issues, functional gaps, and edge cases that could impact customers or downstream banking processes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Strong hands on functional testing / quality engineering experience within complex enterprise applications.
. Core banking experience and working knowledge is required, preferably FIS IBS
. Strong core banking domain knowledge, including customer, account, deposit, transaction, and related banking processes.
. Strong data analysis and validation skills, with the ability to reconcile data across applications, databases, files, and reports.
. Experience developing and executing test scenarios, test cases, test data, regression suites, and end to end testing.
. Experience identifying, documenting, troubleshooting, and managing defects and data discrepancies through resolution.
. Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
. Ability to work effectively with business SMEs, developers, analysts, and other technology teams in a complex banking environment.

Desired Skills

. Hands on experience with Tricentis Tosca for functional and regression test automation.
. Experience using UiPath for test automation or process validation.
. Strong SQL skills for backend data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
. Experience testing core banking integrations and upstream/downstream application interfaces.
. Experience with large scale bank conversions, mergers, core transformations, or account migration initiatives.
. Familiarity with test management and defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar platforms.
. Experience validating high volume customer, account, transaction, and financial data.
. Understanding of Agile delivery and modern Quality Engineering practices.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $58,000.00 - $123,800.00.
