Job Description

The Quality Engineering Specialist will support processes in quality engineering and customer interactions on the DENSO Maryville campus. In particular, the Quality Engineering Specialist will support Cockpit and ADAS divisions including related manufacturing products and processes.

The level of this position is flexible based on the candidate identified.

Responsibilities:
  • Customer related Quality Engineering
  • New product launch development - PPAP, APQP, PA, etc.
  • Change management and validation plan development including process change requests and customer approval
  • Responsible for maintaining the quality of products produced for our customers per DENSO quality standards
  • Monitoring, development, and systems management for quality products
  • Support problem investigation at our customers - zero-mile customer returns, warranty returns, in process failures, etc.
  • Provide engineering support to inspection departments
  • Support customer and internal cross functional groups for overall quality improvement activities
  • Assist in judging parts against established visual/functional standards
  • Must be able to recognize quality trends and act accordingly
  • Obtain and maintain open communication with customers and internally within DENSO worldwide to accurately/promptly communicate quality issues for quick resolution

Annual Salary: $80,000 - $110,000
