Reports to: Service Line Director, Manufacturing and Logistics

Hours per week: 40

Starting Salary: $85,038.15. Exact compensation may vary depending on the individual experience and qualifications of each candidate. Applicants with greater or less than the minimum qualifications for this posted opportunity may be considered for alternate opportunities.

Accountabilities: How You Will Make an Impact

  • Ensure products, materials, processes, and services meet established quality standards and specifications.
  • Verify compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, industry codes, and regulatory standards.
  • Perform inspections, audits, and testing activities on incoming materials, in-process work, and final products.
  • Review test results, calibration records, and inspection reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify defects, non-conformances, or deviations from specifications.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and traceability documentation.
  • Prepare non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective action requests, and inspection summaries.
  • Ensure documentation is complete, organized, and audit-ready.
  • Investigate quality issues and participate in root cause analysis activities.
  • Recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
  • Work with operations, engineering, suppliers, and project teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze quality trends, metrics, and inspection data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support development and revision of procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate supplier quality performance and support supplier audits or assessments.
  • Verify supplier documentation, certifications, and material compliance.
  • Coordinate resolution of supplier-related quality issues.


Ensure compliance with nuclear QA standards including CSA N286, N299.1, ISO 9001, ASME NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, as applicable.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Completion of High School plus additional specialized courses related to quality
  • 5 years of experience in quality or equivalent advanced education
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and quality management systems.
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Proven ability to perform inspections, testing, and verification activities accurately and consistently.
  • Experience using inspection and measurement equipment and maintaining calibration records.
  • Ability to identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis and supporting corrective/preventive action processes is an asset
  • Ability to analyze quality data and identify trends or improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate reports, inspection records, and quality documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to accuracy and traceability requirements.
  • Experience maintaining audit-ready documentation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with operations, engineering, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Ability to clearly communicate quality concerns and recommendations.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.


This role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process. The security clearance process is conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and may take up to 12 months to complete.
