Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in a technical field or equivalent manufacturing experience (3-5 years) in production environment, preferably in a paper mill.
• Solid knowledge of formal quality systems (ISO, QIT, TQM).
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to use automated building and equipment controls.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting moderately heavy objects and working in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all roll covers meet quality control standards from internal and external sources.
• Document quality control procedures using SPI's and ISO documentation.
• Review internal documentation and outgoing paperwork for accuracy.
• Inspect rolls pre-shipment to ensure compliance with quality guidelines.
• Test manufacturing operations for non-conformance and manage rejections.
• Maintain accurate raw material inventory through effective order specification and feedback.
• Communicate quality control procedures to relevant personnel.
