Quality Consultant - (Liability, Workers' Compensation, Project Management)Location: Travel proximity to a Marsh office (U.S.) - hybrid/flexible; travel as requiredPosition Summary: As a quality consultant, your workload will be dedicated to performing an objective review and validation of consultant work product at the direction of the Performance Optimization Leader and deployed as a specialized consultant on CIW projects and/or maintain an adjusted project management workload, as necessary. Your role is to independently evaluate deliverables, quantify expected impact, and drive continuous improvement by providing clear, constructive feedback and coaching to consultants and/or project managers. You will combine hands-on claims expertise (liability, workers' compensation, project management) and a consultant mindset to ensure recommendations are practical, measurable, and aligned to practice goals. At the direction of the Performance Optimization Leader you may also be assigned special project work, such as claim optimizer or legal roundtable facilitator.
What will you do?- Conduct impartial, structured reviews of consultant or project management deliverables for quality, accuracy, completeness, and linkage to client outcomes.
- Apply standardized review criteria and sampling approaches established by practice leadership; maintain review logs and trend analyses.
- Provide timely, actionable feedback and coaching to consultants and project managers to raise the level of work.
- Lead or support root-cause analysis when recurring quality issues are identified and propose targeted remediation or training.
- Partner with practice leadership to prioritize reviews, refine criteria, and update playbooks, templates, and review checklists.
- Support onboarding by validating new consultant outputs and contributing to materials and practical exercises.
- Prepare concise summary reports for practice leadership highlighting findings, risk areas, and realized or projected impact.
- Escalate material risks or defensibility concerns promptly and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform special CIW project work, as requested.

What you need to have:- 5+ years of claims consulting, claims adjudication, project management or claims operations experience in liability and/or workers' compensation (California experience a plus where relevant).
- Hands-on familiarity with multiple TPA/claims systems and RMIS platforms as an end user.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with quantitative and qualitative data to validate assumptions and estimate impact.
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills; ability to translate technical findings into clear, client-ready summaries.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a coaching orientation-able to deliver candid feedback that supports development.
- Consultative mindset focused on outcomes, measurable impact, and practical recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with analytics platforms preferred.
- Willingness to work a hybrid model and travel as required.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $112,600 to $239,800.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
