Position Title: Quality Conformance Consultant

Main Purpose Of The Role

Ensure product and process compliance during operational phases, drive the effectiveness of quality activities directly connected to manufacturing, and lead in-depth root cause analysis for non-conformance issues. This role is critical in maintaining quality standards, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee compliance of products and processes with internal, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for non-conformities and lead corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
  • Support shop-floor teams to resolve quality issues in real-time (on-site investigations and workshops).
  • Coordinate and manage audits (internal & external), monitor progress plans, and ensure timely closure of findings.
  • Participate in quality reviews and prepare reports for customers and authorities.
  • Implement quality tools and methodologies (8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, QRQC) to reinforce process robustness.
  • Train and raise awareness among staff on quality standards and best practices


Here's What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in quality, industrial, engineering physics, computer science, technical discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in an industrial environment (aerospace, automotive, or similar).
  • Flexible to travel to Mirabel 3 times a week
  • Proven track record in non-conformance management and RCA techniques.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and certifications (e.g., AS9100, EN9100, ISO standards).
  • Strong expertise in root cause analysis tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Pareto).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and quality documentation systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in French (both oral & written) and ability to simplify technical matters.
  • Strong leadership with the ability to engage cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on mindset, highly reactive, pragmatic with strong analytical skills.
  • Diplomacy and customer-facing assurance.
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
