Quality Assurance Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will coordinate and support all quality training activities while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, cGMP, and other applicable quality standards.
  • Establish, monitor, and report quality metrics, trends, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
  • Maintain and improve the site's quality management system, ensuring alignment with SH&E strategies, operational procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Perform quality data analysis using NWA, SEEQ, SPC, and SQC tools, and present findings to customers as needed.
  • Further, you will respond to customer quality inquiries, maintain RBA survey compliance, and review material specifications and supplier quality requirements.
  • Lead customer complaint investigations, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and completion of 8D reports.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies such as Fishbone, 5 Why, and Causal Tree analysis.
  • And you will track and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions, recall procedures, containment activities, and preventive measures to reduce recurrence.
  • Provide quality training and coaching on corrective actions, preventive actions, and quality system requirements.
  • Support Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies and implement customer-driven quality initiatives and action plans.
  • Represent the site during regulatory, customer, internal, and third-party audits, and lead internal audit activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Process Change Control, Document Control, and other quality management requirements.
  • And you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, compliance, and operational performance.
  • Lead the site's SPC program and audit/assessment processes, including monitoring performance metrics and ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.


What makes you great

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, preferably Chemistry or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of quality experience, including 3+ years of Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience.
  • Electronics and/or industrial gas industry experience preferred.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
  • You have a strong knowledge of quality systems, auditing practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizational levels, customers, and suppliers.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive results in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (or more as needed) and provide off-hour support for operational needs.
