What You Will Be Doing
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the effective execution of Acushnet Quality Systems and maintain conformance of raw materials, operating supplies, and finished products to Acushnet Quality Standards. In this role, you’ll work closely with suppliers, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to monitor quality performance, evaluate process capability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing environment. You’ll support the development and implementation of testing procedures, sampling plans, and quality reporting systems while investigating quality issues and identifying root causes to improve product consistency and operational performance. This role requires someone who is comfortable working hands-on in manufacturing and supplier environments, analyzing quality data, supporting supplier qualification efforts, and contributing to the evaluation of new and substitute materials. As a key member of the Quality team, you will help strengthen product quality, supplier performance, and manufacturing excellence across the organization.
What You Bring• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Experience managing projects and driving quality improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, raw material evaluation, and process analysis.
• Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring testing procedures, specifications, and quality controls.
• Familiarity with supplier qualification, certification, and performance management programs.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems preferred.
• Quality certifications such as CQE, CQM, or CSQP are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Operations, and R&D.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive working relationships.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, occasionally on short notice.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in laboratory, manufacturing, and supplier environments while adhering to all safety and PPE requirements.

Pay Range: $90,018.00-$112,391.00
