Full Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Determine the resources required for quality control.
  2. Maintain the level of quality throughout the software life cycle.
  3. Develop software quality assurance plans.
  4. Maintain and establish a process for evaluating software and associated documentation.
  5. Participate in formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development life cycle to determine quality.
  6. Examine and evaluate the software quality assurance (SQA) process and recommends enhancements and modifications.
  7. Develop quality standards.
  8. Design and execute IT software tests and evaluating results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  9. Prepare test scripts and all required test documentation.
  10. Test performance using software pages such as Mercury LoadRunner.
  11. Design and prepare all needed test data.
  12. Analyze internal security within systems.
  13. Review test results and evaluate conformance to design.
  14. Test website against accessibility standards WCAG 2.1 (at least Level nd AA) using NVDA or similar tools.
*Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business

  • Three (3) years of equivalent experience in testing Internet and intranet applications.
*Experience:
  1. Five years of experience with establishing and executing automated test procedures.
  2. Five years of software testing experience (integration and acceptance) on multiple projects.
  3. Five years of experience in verification and validation, software testing and integration, software metrics, and their application to software quality assessment, and demonstrated knowledge of system and project life cycles.
  4. Five years of experience testing database interfaces in a multi-release project environment.
  5. Five years of experience creating development and execution of test cases for Unit Testing, User Acceptance Testing, interoperability testing, System Integration testing and Performance testing of a multi-tier Internet and Intranet Solution.
  6. Five years of experience managing a system test and acceptance process by gathering stakeholder input and feedback and developing and implementing tools to improve the process.
  7. Five years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management, tracking bug fixes, test results, and release management.
  8. Knowledge of or at least one (1) year of experience in testing accessibility standards WCAG 2.1 (at least Level nd AA). Support test documentation to confirm meeting accessibility standards of the website.
