Position Overview

The Quality Assurance & KPI Manager serves in a managerial capacity with responsibility for overseeing inventory control, Quality Assurance and KPI, leading teams, and governing performance across assigned site(s). This role is accountable for establishing inventory strategies, managing multiple direct reports of Cycle counters and floor supervisors, and ensuring consistent execution of processes aligned with contractual and organizational objectives.

The position exercises decision-making authority over Quality and KPI performance, compliance, and resource allocation, including direct supervision of inventory control personnel such as cycle counters, inventory analysts, and team leaders. In addition, the role provides oversight and direction to Inventory Supervisors and site-level leaders across multiple locations, who are responsible for executing contractual KPIs and reporting performance results into this position. The Quality Assurance & KPI Manager ensures adherence to company policies, safety standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements, including hazardous materials (hazmat) where applicable.

Location: Henrico, VA (onsite)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1st Shift

Travel Specifics: Approximately 5% travel

Competitive Compensation: $82,000 to $110,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee inventory control and Quality assurance teams, including cycle counters, inventory associates, and team leads

- Supervise team members by assigning work, setting priorities, and monitoring performance

- Exercise authority in hiring, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions

- Establish team goals and manage performance through KPIs

- Coach and mentor team members to support development and succession planning

- Promote a safe environment for employees and customer products, ensuring compliance with all safety standards, including hazmat handling procedures

- Foster a positive teamwork environment by actively listening and communicating with associates in a fast-paced setting

- Support coordination of floor space utilization and workflow optimization to handle large volumes of inventory

- Assist in coordinating OS&D (Overages, Shortages, and Damages) claims in a timely manner

- Supervise Inventory Supervisors and site-level leaders reporting into this role

- Oversee inventory control performance across multiple sites

- Lead implementation and management of contractual KPIs across sites

- Review KPI reports, identify trends, and direct corrective actions

- Conduct performance reviews with site leadership

- Act as escalation point for multi-site inventory issues

Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience

- Strong communication skills

- Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency

- Warehouse equipment experience

- Inventory control experience

- 2+ years warehouse experience

- 2+ years WMS and RF systems experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience leading inventory teams

- Experience managing supervisors or multi-site operations

- Knowledge of barcode scanning, RFID, inventory systems

- Ability to manage performance metrics

- Hazmat experience
