Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) with 8 years of Ship Repair experience
• Familiarity with NAVSEA Standard Items and Navy Repair specifications
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications
• Experience supporting operations in a shipyard setting
• Knowledge of IFS for TIP Management
• Certification in NBPI or NACE
• Quality Control Supervisor (QCS) certification
• Understanding of AMPP/QP1 requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead quality management initiatives at the Norfolk shipyard
• Ensure adherence to quality processes and customer requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement
• Provide technical expertise on quality management
• Drive compliance with project specifications and standards
• Conduct audits and assessments to ensure quality conformance
• Guide and mentor junior quality analysts in best practices
