About the Role
Join the BAE Systems Minneapolis Weapon Systems Test Team as a Principal Product Support Specialist. In this role, you will be a technical linchpin, providing expertise in electronics systems for everything from cutting-edge prototypes to proven, fielded systems. We offer a culture of autonomy and trust, where self-starters are empowered to take ownership of their work and drive mission success. This position offers a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

What You'll Do:
  • Solve Complex Problems: Use your analytical skills to identify technical hurdles and collaborate with stakeholders to implement robust solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead the troubleshooting of high and low voltage electronics and the installation of sophisticated data acquisition systems.
  • Data-Driven Results: Execute test procedures, analyze critical data, and author the technical reports that guide our programs forward.
  • Quality Assurance: Champion product assurance initiatives and ensure success during internal and customer audits.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, resolving technical challenges through clear and effective communication.
  • Physical Requirements: This role requires regular presence in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. The incumbent must be able to access and safely navigate production areas which may include climbing, kneeling, stooping, and working in confined spaces. Must also be able to comply with all requirements including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company policy.

  • Knowledge of precision machine tool processing and fabrication.
