What You Will Do:

As a Quality Analyst, you will play a key role in improving quality, reliability, and continuous improvement across our engine programs. You will also conduct internal audits to ensure robust processes and compliance. You'll work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality leadership to turn data and shop floor insights into sustainable solutions, while also supporting Entry Into Service (EIS) activities and internal auditing.

If you're energized by solving complex problems, challenging the status quo, and seeing your work translate into measurable improvements in safety, reliability, cost, and customer satisfaction, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact at our Bridgeport, WV engine center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction across the shop by identifying trends, investigating quality escapes and recurring issues, and developing sustainable solutions.
  • Identify and eliminate systemic quality issues that contribute to COPQ across the entire shop and multiple engine models, moving beyond individual defects to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Lead and facilitate Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, ensuring problems are thoroughly investigated, corrective actions are effective, and solutions are sustained over time.
  • Coach and mentor supervisors and shop leadership on RCCA methodologies, building organizational capability and empowering teams to effectively solve quality problems at the source.
  • Partner closely with supervisors, technicians, engineering, operations, and other key stakeholders to understand challenges on the shop floor, build trust, and drive collaborative quality improvements.
  • Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders by serving as a hands-on quality partner and connecting shop-floor insights with data-driven quality strategies.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for proactive intervention and prioritize the issues with the greatest impact to quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate Entry Into Service (EIS) activities to ensure all shop requirements are identified and met to begin MRO of a new engine model.
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate process adherence, identify opportunities for improvement, and help ensure robust and effective quality processes throughout the MRO operation.
  • Track the effectiveness of corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts, ensuring improvements deliver measurable and sustainable reductions in COPQ.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality ownership throughout the shop by engaging employees at all levels and helping teams proactively identify and address sources of variation and waste.
  • Influence quality performance across the full operation, balancing immediate problem resolution with long-term strategies that improve processes across engine models and shop functions.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance (QA), continuous improvement, aircraft maintenance, or similar related role, OR an Associate's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, OR, in lieu of a degree, a High School diploma and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Quality assurance experience in the aerospace industry
  • Previous experience supporting internal audits and conducting RCCAs.
  • Previous experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated environment (ACE, Lean Six Sigma, CORE, etc.)
  • Proven experience implementing process improvements using data driven decision making across multiple business functions (operations, engineering, quality, etc.)
