PositionOverview
NewCold isseeking a QESH Manager to effectively manage Quality, Environmental, Safety& Health functions on site and provide a level of service in line withcustomer requirements and legislation, at a level of cost agreed in the budget.The QESH Manager will create and develop a professional culture onsite, in linewith our values, and ensure that a positive attitude to Health & Safety isembedded within the NewCold team.

Roles andResponsibilities
• Responsiblefor promoting a safety culture and awareness across the site while managing andimplementing QESH policies and procedures.
• Responsiblefor the development of training materials to support QESH policies andprocedures.
• Promoteemployee awareness of QESH through training and continuous site-wide
communication.
• Develop,implement and maintain QESH performance measurement programs including trackingand reporting progress.
• Manage theaccident and injury investigation program and conduct accident and injury
investigationsto identify root causes and eliminate potential hazards and reoccurrences.
• Participatein the initiation phase of equipment installation and set-up to assist indesign for safety, health, and environmental principles and set up of emergencyresponse plans and crisis manual.
• EnsureNewCold employees and new hires are trained and certified in compliance withrules, legislation, company and customer requirements.
• Ensure andmaintain compliance with all regulatory agencies required or voluntaryincluding but not limited to OSHA, WISHA, EPA, FSMA, C-TPAT, BRC, IFS, etc.
• Acts as aliaison officer for the external authorities and insurance inspectors regardingsafety, security, claims, accidents, investigation and other issues.
• Conduct anddocuments regular Safety, Environmental and EPA Audits of the facility toensure compliance with safety rules, procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain anddevelop relationships with all external and internal stakeholders related toQESH.
• Documentsafety data for required company and regulatory reporting, develop and implementbehavior based QESH programs on site.
• Advise andassist site management, production leaders and employees about managing risks regardingSafety and Health.
• Conduct riskanalyses for the site and implement mitigation plans and document monthly reportingof results according to NewCold standards.
• Completetrend analyses on safety results, plan for improvement and prepare andcoordinate the annual management review.
• Supply andmaintain required PPE for employees.
• Completelocal KPI templates and share information internally, engaging the local teamto search for improvement opportunities.
• Maintaincommunication with NewCold's customer QA department.
• Ensure thesite's certifications and accreditations are fulfilled and up to date.

Experience
• 3+ Years ofexperience in a light industrial and/or warehousing environment.
• 6+ years ofexperience in Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health.
• Knowledge ofOSHA, EPA, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA, BRC, VPP, and First Aid.

Education/Certification
• Bachelor'sDegree in related field of study or equivalent experience
• AssociateSafety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is preferred
