Position Description: This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and Client office at Scarborough for a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• Maintain and enhance Selenium automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, and data validation testing.
• Validate business requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test artifacts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and clients to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform risk assessment and proactively communicate testing status, blockers, and project risks to stakeholders.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of business workflows and integrations with external systems.
• Support device and peripheral testing to ensure seamless interaction with hardware components.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve product quality and release readiness.
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation strategies, and testing standards.
• Develop deep functional knowledge of Branch Management and healthcare-related business solutions to ensure effective test coverage.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Test Automation Framework development.
• Good programming knowledge in Java.
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or Swagger.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile pods.
• Experience in data validation and backend testing.
• Ability to analyze requirements and quickly gain functional knowledge of new applications and business processes.
• Strong defect management and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent status reporting, risk identification, and escalation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder/client management abilities.
• Experience in end-to-end system integration testing.
• Knowledge of device and peripheral testing (printers, scanners, card readers, or external hardware integrations) is a plus.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM.

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65000-$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.**
