Their most important reqs for this consultant (full time contracting role in NYC) are: 1. Document how to use these QA tools below. 2. Ability to configure and teach others how to configure tools used. 3. Person must be able to document how the QA tools will be used. Person must have hands expertise with these QA tools. 4. Ability to formally train other users. There are no certifications that are required but nice to have would be CSTE, ISTQB (QA certifications) or any vendor certifications in the QA tools cited below - Selenium, QMetry, and JIRA. Knowledge of financial services is a good to have including payments, FX, if possible. - not mandatory.

The role is required to perform hands-on QA Test Lead activities to set up / configure testing related tools across the organisation, develop appropriate document artefacts to enable the Quality Assurance and Testing team to use the different tools, create a knowledge repository for these tools and provide the necessary training to the Quality Assurance and Testing team to use these tools.

Professional Experience * Established record of setting up / configuring testing tools ranging from industry recognised test management and automation tools to bespoke testing tools and utilities. * Proven experience of producing various document artefacts relating to setting up / configuring / managing testing tools. * Well-versed in providing training to teams on concepts / methods / other role specific topics. * Extensive overall software testing experience and specific testing experience in the 'Financial Services' business domain (preferably in FX, Payment - RTGS, SWIFT). *

Experience of managing and / or working with teams across different locations and within an off-shored service model. * Experience in database interrogation using SQL, Linux and UNIX. * Familiarity of the CLS concept. Skills Desired * QMetry Test Management Tool. * Selenium Automation Tool. * JIRA Defect Management Tool. * Certification in Software Testing (CSTE , ISTQB)

The candidate will possess at least 7-10 years of hands-on testing experience across different test / project methodologies, testing types and tools.
FX knowledge and experience is required. More importantly, the candidate will possess experience in the above said activities relating to the administration / management of testing tools.
