OverviewArcGIS Pro is a powerful geographic information system (GIS) software that is used to analyze, visualize, and share spatial data, helping to solve real-world problems. As a product engineer on the Editing team, you will utilize your technical skills to help test and release robust, high-quality editing tools.
We're responsible for designing, building, and testing all the great new features that we add into our ArcGIS Pro editing environment. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where product delivery cycles are frequent. Apply your creativity and analytical skills to help our team test and deploy ArcGIS Pro!
Responsibilities- Test, release, and support ArcGIS Pro's editing tools to enhance overall product quality
- Create and execute high-quality test plans
- Manage and maintain the automation of new and current tests through various test harnesses (MVVM, UI)
- Drive and promote quality assurance within the team
- Perform troubleshooting to resolve software defects
Requirements- 1+ years of experience utilizing C# or C++
- Experience with software development QA processes, test design strategies, and test automation
- Knowledge of testing and scripting environments (shell or batch scripting)
- Hands-on software testing experience with client-server desktop applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related field
Recommended Qualifications- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related field
- Familiarity working with various DBMSs including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DB/2
- Understanding of the Agile software development life cycle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
