QA Lead
Lead II - Software Testing
UST is searching for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Lead to oversee our quality assurance processes and team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
The opportunity:
• Lead and manage the QA team, including mentoring and performance reviews.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through resolution.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
• Monitor and report on QA metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Continuously improve QA processes and tools.

• Experience: 7+ years
• Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 1-2 years in a lead role.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman).
• Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Georgia
Compensation Range: $78,000-$117,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
