Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and process improvement, with a focus on both functional and technical requirements. This role is integral to supporting business operations, and you will work closely with stakeholders to identify and define system needs, translating business requirements into actionable system designs.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform data management by creating and maintaining the data management plan for OIS-MC
  • User management through account creation and role assigning
  • Configuration through validating roles, menus, actions, policies, permissions, and settings
  • Tier II help desk support to troubleshoot reported bugs/issues, escalate JIRA write-ups to third party vendor and assist to resolvePerform User Testing of Application, Regression Testing, and validation/verification; Create,Update, and Maintain Test Scripts/Functional Validation for Help Desk support and user testing
  • Perform Testing Status updates, reviews, and analysis to track status of fixes to application
  • Work in a multi-functional matrix team within an Integrated Product Team (IPT); provide Production support, and IPT support functions as needed
  • Produce Help Desk and Test Result reporting that includes lessons learned, corrective actions and process improvements to mitigate common user Help Desk issues and testing issue
  • Provide subject matter expertise in process improvements to Test Plans, Functional Validation
  • Guides (Test Scripts and Use Cases), Help desk, and overall inventory management processes and procedures that reduce errors in workflows and increase stability of the application

Quality Assurance:
  • Perform User Testing of Application, Regression Testing, and validation/verification; Create, Update, and Maintain Test Scripts/Functional Validation for Help Desk support and user testing
  • Perform Testing Status updates, reviews, and analysis to track status of fixes to application
  • Work in a multi-functional matrix team within an Integrated Product Team (IPT); provide Production support, and IPT support functions as needed

Basic Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance (must be verifiable at time of hire)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
  • Keen knowledge of the Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) rules, policies and transactional data management and information exchanges
  • Knowledgeable of USMC Ammunition inventory processes, using Warehouse (WMS) and Inventory Management systems (IMS)
  • Supply chain or logistics experience• Preferred understanding of process improvement methods
  • Ability to work independently, and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new processes in an ambiguous type of environment
  • Effective communication skills and experienced in Microsoft suite (Excel, word, etc..)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting DoD, federal government, or intelligence community projects
