QA Engineer to join our growing team in United States!
Role: QA EngineerLocation: Chicago/Vernon Hills, ILTop 3 Must Haves: - Ability to Adapt and Deliver Quickly (Top Priority): Success in this role requires someone who can absorb new information rapidly, adjust to changing priorities, and execute testing with confidence and efficiency.
- Critical Thinking and Ownership (Top Priority): We are looking for an individual who brings curiosity, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills. The right candidate will ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions when appropriate, identify risks early, and proactively drive issues to resolution.
Preferred skills: - Symitar Knowledge: Previous Symitar experience is beneficial and would help accelerate onboarding.
- Azure DevOps Experience: Strong experience managing testing activities within Azure DevOps is ideal. However, candidates with solid testing process experience using JIRA or legacy Mercury tools could also be successful.
- Digital banking, lending, payments industry / domain experience
Nice to Have:- Postman Experience: While experience with Postman is a plus, it is not a deciding factor. We have the documentation, training materials, and team support needed to bring the right candidate up to speed quickly.
- SQL Experience: SQL skills are valuable for testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities. Although not mandatory, they would reduce ramp-up time and can be strengthened through training.
