Description

The Role

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing QA team. You'll work alongside product managers, developers, and designers to ensure we ship high-quality, reliable features across our B2B2C SaaS platform. Your work will directly impact the experience of thousands of users, and you'll play a key role in building a strong, scalable QA foundation through both manual and automated testing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • ~ 30% Write and execute manual test cases across a wide range of features and platforms (web, mobile web, APIs).
  • ~ 50% Build and maintain automated tests using modern testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright+JS, TypeScript, Vitest).
  • ~ 20% Provide root cause analysis and technical customer support as required.

As part of these 3 core responsibilities, the day-to-day work includes:

  • Work closely with cross-functional product & engineering pods to understand feature requirements, build out test plans and execute tests.
  • Conduct end-to-end, regression, sanity, performance, and API testing.
  • Report, track, and verify bugs using tools like Jira.
  • Participate in test planning, sprint reviews, and release readiness efforts.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and testing efficiency.
  • Experiment with new tools, including AI-based QA tools, to help increase velocity and reliability.
  • Work as part of a dedicated cross-functional squad to deliver a bug-free experience to end users.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 2+ years of experience in a QA or software testing role with at least 1+ years experience in automation test writing and execution.
  • Manual testing methodologies and documentation best practices
  • Experience writing or maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
  • Exposure to REST API testing (e.g., Postman).
  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD environments.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering high-quality software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion to constantly seek improvements and efficiencies in the testing lifecycle.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate testing (e.g., AI-based test generation, flakiness detection, analysis).

Bonus:

  • Familiarity with database querying and SQL for test validation.
  • Exposure / skills in Vitest
  • Experience in a SaaS or B2B2C product environment.
