Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and/or Python.
• Automate Web, API, and backend testing scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Execute API testing and database validation using SQL.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners within Agile teams.
• Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate test design, automation development, and quality
engineering activities.
Required Skills
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles.
• Strong hands-on coding experience in Java and/or Python.
• Experience with Selenium, TestNG/JUnit/PyTest, and automation framework
development.
• Strong API testing and automation experience (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.).
• Good SQL and database testing skills.
• Solid understanding of Agile, SDLC, defect management, and QE best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in BFSI or other enterprise domains.
• Working knowledge of AI-powered engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft
Copilot, ChatGPT, or AI-enabled testing platforms for code generation, test automation,
test case creation, and productivity improvement.
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and performance testing tools
Mandatory Skills: SDET.
Experience: 5-8 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 77000 to CAD 120000 .
