Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA engineering experience with a strong emphasis on automation.
• Experience working in Agile teams for at least 2 years.
• Proficient in Object Oriented Programming with a focus on Java (preferably).
• 2+ years of experience using source code management systems, preferably Git.
• At least 2 years of experience with xUnit frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
• Selenium WebDriver expertise is essential; no record and playback experience is acceptable.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and familiarity with BDD and/or Cucumber methodology.

Responsibilities

• Engage primarily in automation coding (90% of the role) and conduct functional testing (10%).
• Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure seamless integration of QA processes.
• Utilize Java and/or C# for coding and testing automation solutions.
• Implement and manage testing & build procedures using tools like Maven or similar.
• Design and execute test cases using the xUnit framework for continuous integration.
• Perform data validation using SQL to ensure application quality.
• Communicate effectively within the team and represent the QA function across different Agile teams.
