The role requires strong technical testing, automation, troubleshooting, and AI-assisted engineering skills. The candidate must be comfortable working with incomplete requirements, testing features as they become available, determining appropriate automation coverage, and using logs, APIs, databases, and cloud evidence to assess release risk.
This is not a manual-only QA role or an end-of-cycle testing role.

- Experience using Chrome DevTools, BrowserStack, and observability tools such as Datadog, Kibana, Splunk, Grafana, New Relic, OpenSearch, or similar.
- Practical, recurring use of AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, or similar is required.
- Experience using AI to support areas such as requirements analysis, test design, automation development, code review, impact analysis, defect investigation, test-data generation, or release-readiness reporting.
- Must be able to explain how to review, validate, and correct AI-generated output before using it in tests, code, or release decisions.
Knowledge and Skills:Required
- 5+ years of hands-on Quality Engineering experience.
- 3+ years testing web applications, APIs, backend services, middleware, integrations, and data-driven workflows.
- 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
- Experience testing authentication, permissions, tenant boundaries, workflow state, data persistence, synchronization, error handling, retries, and downstream behavior.
- Ability to investigate defects across browser behavior, APIs, backend logs, databases, cloud services, and third-party integrations.
Preferred
- Testing AWS or serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Step Functions, or DynamoDB.
- Testing event-driven systems, asynchronous workflows, queues, synchronization processes, rules engines, or data-transformation pipelines.
- Contract testing, feature flags, phased rollouts, rollback planning, production smoke testing, or hyper-care monitoring.
- Accessibility, performance, security-focused, or reliability testing.
- Experience with customer-critical, data-sensitive, financial, regulated, or operationally significant systems.
- Experience testing iOS and Android applications is a major plus, particularly with Appium, BrowserStack, emulators, simulators, and real devices.
- Relevant experience includes validating authentication, permissions, API integrations, synchronization, offline behavior, feature flags, push notifications, and backend data state.
