Full Job Description
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages hands on in Python, Java or C++
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
• Track record of working on distributed systems and service-oriented architecture with complex system interactions.
• In-depth understanding of Front Office trading
• Understanding of the Commodities.
• Background with SecDb, Athena or Quartz is preferred
• Develop new applications for the Commodities eTrading Desk and support day-to-day activities
We are seeking strong developers to join a small team of highly skilled developers in the build-outand maintenance of a state-of-the-art, global infrastructure to support market access, electronic market making and algorithm development across a number of Commodities businesses including Precious Metals and Base Metals, Ags, Energy andIndices.
