Job Summary
The Python Developer + AI Engineer will support the Ask Transcripts project by developing AI-powered applications using Python, FastAPI, agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, and RAG pipelines. The role focuses on hands-on Python application development, AI agent integration and orchestration, model deployment, and integration of AI models with web applications. Candidates should have strong Python development experience and practical experience building and deploying Agentic AI and LLM-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Python-based applications supporting AI and LLM use cases.
• Design and develop REST APIs using FastAPI.
• Integrate and orchestrate AI agents using LangChain and LangGraph.
• Build and maintain agentic AI workflows and LLM/RAG pipelines.
• Integrate AI models and web applications using Python.
• Deploy AI models and applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate and work with LLM APIs including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and Hugging Face.
• Support cloud-based AI application development, preferably using Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and integrate solutions with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Apply AI/ML frameworks to develop practical AI-powered applications.
• Support application deployment and productionization of AI solutions.
• Collaborate on AI model integration, application development, and deployment activities.
Required Qualifications
• Strong Python development background with hands-on Python application development experience.
• Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with AI agent integration and orchestration.
• Experience with LangChain and LangGraph.
• Experience developing agentic AI workflows.
• Experience with LLM and RAG pipelines.
• Experience with AI model deployment.
• Experience deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Hugging Face.
• Experience integrating AI models with web applications using Python.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks.
• Cloud experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to attend an in-person interview in Plano, TX, including the second-round interview with the team.
• Candidates should have a primary background in Python application development rather than primarily in Data Science, Data Analysis, or Data Engineering.
