Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead enterprise-level data governance and data protection initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Purview, data classification, sensitivity labeling, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). This role will provide strategic guidance on implementing and optimizing Microsoft Purview to strengthen data security, governance, and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Microsoft Purview and its enterprise capabilities.
• Design, implement, and optimize Microsoft Purview solutions to support data governance and security objectives.
• Develop and manage data classification and sensitivity labeling strategies.
• Configure and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to reduce the risk of data loss.
• Provide recommendations on Microsoft Purview best practices and enterprise adoption.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, infrastructure, and business teams to implement effective data protection solutions.
• Assess existing data governance processes and recommend improvements.
• Support enterprise compliance initiatives through effective data management and protection strategies.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Purview-related issues and provide technical guidance.
• Communicate technical concepts and recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Microsoft Purview Subject Matter Expert.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Purview architecture, capabilities, and enterprise implementation.
• Strong expertise in data governance, data classification, sensitivity labeling, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Experience implementing enterprise-wide data protection and compliance solutions.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft security and compliance technologies.
• Ability to develop best practices for enterprise data governance and information protection.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
