About the job PURSUITS MANAGER
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Pursuits Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, California. The Pursuits Manager will be responsible for leading the pursuit process for new business opportunities, including managing the proposal development process and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and effective responses. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the pursuit process for new business opportunities, including identifying potential opportunities, developing pursuit strategies, and managing the proposal development process.
- Collaborate with various departments, including sales, marketing, and clinical teams, to gather information and develop compelling proposals that meet the needs of potential clients.
- Conduct research and analysis to understand market trends and competitor offerings, and use this information to develop winning pursuit strategies.
- Manage the proposal development process, including creating timelines, assigning tasks, and coordinating with team members to ensure timely and high-quality responses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry contacts.
- Ensure all proposals are compliant with company standards and meet the requirements of potential clients.
- Track and report on pursuit activities, including wins, losses, and lessons learned, to inform future pursuit strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the pursuit process and increase the company's competitiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of proposal development best practices and experience managing the proposal process.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information to inform pursuit strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with proposal management software is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
