Job Summary: The Supply Chain Lead is responsible for centralized coordination and governance of branch-level inventory and material flow activities. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role serves as the primary liaison between branch operations and the centralized Purchasing and Procurement functions for day-to-day inventory transactions, material transfers, and process compliance.
This position ensures inventory accuracy, inter-branch material optimization, and adherence to established inventory policies and procedures. The Supply Chain Lead does not design policy but is responsible for reinforcing, coordinating, and ensuring consistent execution of centralized inventory governance standards across all branches.
Responsibilities:- Manage and monitor branch inventories in coordination with onsite colleagues.
- Serve as the first point of contact for order, receipt, and transfer questions or transaction issues.
- Support day-to-day inventory transaction accuracy including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
- Coordinate resolution of material discrepancies, receiving inconsistencies, and inventory variances.
- Ensure compliance with established inventory policies and centralized governance standards as directed by Purchasing Administration.
- Coordinate inventory counts and branch audits to validate accuracy and process adherence.
- Research scrap inventory and ensure appropriate documentation and disposition in accordance with policy.
- Identify non-compliance trends and escalate to Purchasing Manager as needed.
- Maximize branch-to-branch inventory utilization to support service projects and work orders.
- Coordinate inter-branch material transfers to reduce unnecessary procurement spend.
- Compile and maintain centralized lists of overage and excess materials across all branches.
- Reinforce standardized inventory and materials management procedures across branches.
- Support transactional workflows related to inventory coordination
- Work directly with branch coordinators to improve adherence to established processes.
- Support implementation of centralized inventory governance initiatives.
- Generate inventory reports related to overage, transfer activity, compliance, and variance trends.
- Support Purchasing leadership with inventory-related analytics and documentation.
- Participate in special projects related to materials management, system improvements, or inventory optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications:- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management or other related
- Significant experience within a project-based industry (e.g., systems integration, low-voltage construction, manufacturing, or large-scale installation services).
- Knowledge of overall system function in building automation, security, or fire integration
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Procurement in a Security System Integrator or similar business vertical

Salary Range: $79,000 - $101,000 DOE
