WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS POSITION:
As a Purchasing Supervisor at nVent Management Company, you will begin a highly fulfilling role where your work directly supports flawless inventory management and outstanding customer happiness. You will guide a team of buyer analysts who support our Data Solutions business. You will ensure procurement processes are followed closely and improved over time.
Lead a group of buyer analysts supporting the Data Solutions business
Manage the availability of inventory to satisfy production and customer needs
Identify, develop, and implement improvements across the procure-to-pay process
Maintain data integrity of safety stocks, purchase order dates, lead times, and other key ERP fields
Conduct and facilitate cross-functional meetings to address supply disruptions
Own safety stock levels and update ERP from the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) tool
Drive benchmarks for Cash, Stockouts, and other operational metrics
Identify, assess, and communicate supply disruption risks to leadership and collaborators
Evaluate team member performance and align individual goals with organizational central initiatives
Be onsite – remote work is an available option when necessary but will be the exception
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years’ experience in a materials leadership role, preferred
3+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferred
1+ years of supervisory experience, preferred
Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$76,000.00 - $141,100.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
