Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory, team lead, or functional leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and purchasing tools.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments preferred.
• Ability to manage priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the purchasing team to ensure accuracy in purchase orders and timely delivery of materials.
• Balance team management with ownership of personal purchasing responsibilities.
• Procure materials according to supplier agreements, lead times, and purchasing policies.
• Maintain precision in SAP records related to purchase orders and supplier data.
• Conduct root cause analysis on purchasing disruptions and drive corrective actions.
• Facilitate supplier onboarding and ensure compliance with specifications in partnership with relevant departments.
