DescriptionCompunetics is seeking an individual to plan, direct, and coordinates the procurement, inventory, and movement of materials to support organizational operations.
Responsibilities:- Prepare RFQ's and Purchase Orders and submit to suppliers
- Source and develop new suppliers
- Negotiate prices
- Collaborate with approved suppliers for best price, quality and delivery
- Liaise between suppliers, customers and internal account management, Planning and Production
- Coordinate semi-annual uniform orders
- Maintain departmental work instructions
- Maintain daily inventory daily cycle counts
- Supervise and oversee the Shipping/Receiving Department
Requirements: - Bachelor - Supply Chain Management or Business
- 3-5 years purchasing/Supply Chain Management at a manufacturing facility
- Industrial materials, chemicals, laminates and other raw material procurement experience preferred
- PCB experience a plus
- Understanding of ERP, Planning, expediting and inventory control processes in a production environment
- Solid Interpersonal, communication, and multi-tasking skills required
- Some supervision or team leadership experience desired
