Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 5-10 years of purchasing experience in residential homebuilding, with management experience preferred.
• Experience with NewStar Enterprise ERP is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in negotiating trade partner and supplier agreements, budget management, and cost control.
• Solid understanding of homebuilding operations and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead all divisional purchasing activities including sourcing, bidding, negotiating, and contracting.
• Manage relationships with trade partners and suppliers, including recruitment and performance evaluation.
• Negotiate and maintain contracts and pricing agreements for cost competitiveness and quality assurance.
• Monitor construction costs, budgets, and market conditions to mitigate risks and control expenses.
• Collaborate with Construction, Operations, Sales, and Finance teams to support strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and maintain accurate purchasing documentation.
• Develop the divisional purchasing team and foster cross-functional collaboration.
