What you'll do:

The Purchasing Coordinator (Acoustic Tiles) supports procurement and inventory operations by managing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely and cost-effective replenishment of materials. This role plays a key part in maintaining product availability, supporting sales and operations, and ensuring accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Process, track, and confirm purchase orders with vendors
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and follow up to ensure on-time arrivals
  • Compare vendor pricing, freight rates, and availability to support cost-effective purchasing decisions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory processes
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using internal systems
  • Serve as a liaison between purchasing, sales, operations, and logistics teams
  • Communicate delivery timelines, product availability, and order status
  • Support material transfers between locations as needed
  • Assist warehouse teams with inventory systems and reconciliation processes
  • Provide timely and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support resolution of order issues, delays, or discrepancies
  • Assist in maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and efficiency

  • Ability to occasionally work extended hours based on business needs
