Great Opportunity - Nurse Practitioner, Pulmonary - Connecticut

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pulmonary Medicine to join our team in Connecticut. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly respected organization focused on quality care, patient satisfaction, and clinical excellence.

The role focuses on pulmonary function testing (PFT) and supporting outpatient pulmonary care, including diagnostic testing, patient education, and selected clinical support activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform pulmonary function testing, including spirometry, lung volumes, and diffusion studies
  • Conduct ambulatory/exertional testing when indicated
  • Ensure accurate patient preparation, coaching, and test quality
  • Provide inhaler education and technique training
  • Support outpatient pulmonary "sick visits" for acute respiratory concerns
  • Assist with biologic therapy workflows, including prior authorizations
  • Maintain equipment quality control and lab standards
  • Document results and clinical findings in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care
