Summary:
Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Public Health Analyst I to review and identify responsive documents for PII, PHI, and mosaic information that might allow identification or trace-back to an individual patient or the patient's family members or caregivers.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Identify content protected by other FOIA exemptions, primarily Exemption 4 (commercial and proprietary content) and Exemption 5 (pre-decisional and deliberative content).
- Identify content and records covered by an Assurance of Confidentiality (AoC).
- Identify content, records, and data protected by contracts with commercial parties.
- Link a defendable justification to content, records, and/or data requested to be protected.
- Collaborate and coordinate with DHQP SMEs and the CDC FOIA Office to resolve FOIA concerns.
- Assist the DHQP FOIA Team in addressing and responding to FOIA inquiries and activities.
- Participate during CDC response activities and training exercises under direction of the DHQP Team Lead; duties include staffing the EOC desk to help support CDC's mission.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the rules, procedures, and principles that govern intramural and extramural program development, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint).
- Excellent judgment and decision-making; capable of working independently with ability to multitask successfully.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Demonstrated responsibility and leadership in a public health or related program
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus 1–2 years of relevant work experience in a relevant public health field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree plus 3–5 years of relevant work experience in a relevant public health field.
Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $108,000 annually.
