ResponsibilitiesPeratonis seeking an experiencedPSYOP Exercise Planner.
Location: Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO
- This position is on-site with the client, no remote/hybrid work.
As the PSYOP Exercise Planner, you will:
- Review, analyze, and advise on the impact of nationallevel strategies, policies, and joint doctrine.
- Support development of exercise planning documentation, identify command resource requirements, and validate PSYOP integration and participation in joint, multilateral, and multinational exercises.
- Conduct academic research to develop and validate PSYOP knowledge, providing instruction and guidance to service members.
- Deliver focused academic outreach, experimentation, and integration of scientific applications relevant to PSYOP.
- Provide continuity and support to advanced influence courses for the military client.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on PSYOP.
- Provide PSYOP instruction and mentoring to service members throughout exercises.
- Demonstrate knowledge and ability to develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial propaganda.
- Bring experience in developing training curricula for military audiences.
- Apply expertise in mission analysis, analytic problemsolving, and assessment, leveraging information systems and IRCs; integrating interagency and intelligence community (IC) perspectives; developing concepts to counter adversarial information use in the cyber and electromagnetic spectrum; and considering cultural factors affecting operational and tactical planning, security, and risk assessment.
- Provide instruction on PSYOP, MDMP, servicelevel operations, and joint operations as required.
- Support educational courses and requirements for advanced PSYOP skills.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor27s degree and 8 years of relevant experience; or Master27s degree and 6 or more years of relevant experience.
- An additional 4 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor27s degree.
- PSYOP (37A/37F) MOS or sister-service equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience with PSYOP planning and execution supporting Combatant Commands, service component commands, SMUs, or Joint Task Forces.
- Expert knowledge of joint operationalplanning process, military decision-making process, and CONOP development, and in developing and accessing tactical and operational level PSYOP/OIE plans, orders, and series.
- Expert knowledge of all Operations in the Information Environment (OIE).
- Expert knowledge of combatant command levelstructure(TSOCs, service component commands, JTFs) and experience navigating joint staffs and procedures
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Current U.S. Passport with the ability to travel internationally.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of DoD, joint, and Army service doctrine, regulations, and policies.
- Capable of recommending changes to policy, force structure and design, and command relationships.
- Able to operate in ambiguous environments with little guidance and feedback.
- Able to coordinate PSYOP and OIE actions within the proper military and interagency channels and develop policies that incorporate the principle of C2.
- Ability to engage senior leaders and staff and conduct complex briefings to large audiences.
- Ability to work effectively within a task organized working groups.
- Expertise in planning, integrating, and coordinating with interagency and intelligence community entities.
- Adept at developing and utilizing information products that leverage current and emerging technologies to inform planning, improve coordination, and enable timely decisions.
- Demonstrated creative and critical thinking, capable of quickly learning new skills, flexible and adaptable.
- Be familiar with, certified in, or have applicable operational/field time experience in:
- Military Deception (MILDEC)
- OPSEC
- EW
- Cyberspace operations
Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual27s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
