Serves as a member of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team. Utilizes behavior analysis and modification for assisting in the development of Behavior Intervention Programs (BIP).
Essential Functions- Provides professional psychologist services to individuals living at Shapiro Center, including assessment program planning, consults with senior Psychologists on implementation of programs and data collection and interpretation of individual progress.
- Serves as a member of the Interdisciplinary Teams by conveying individual progress information to the Team for assigned individuals.
- Utilizes behavior analysis and modification for assisting in the development of Behavior Intervention Programs (BIP).
- Completes comprehensive summaries of counseling sessions.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications- Requires a master's degree in psychology from a recognized college or university supplemented by two (2) years' professional experience in psychology or satisfactory completion of the psychologist associate program.
- This class is included as an Upward Mobility Program credential title.

- Requires ability to work after business hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Requires the ability to utilize office equipment, including personal computers.
- Requires ability to travel in the performance of job duties.
- Requires ability to pass the IDHS background check.
- Requires ability to pass a drug screen for drugs prohibited from recreational use under Illinois Law.

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, working one early shift (choice of: 6:00am - 2:30pm or 6:30am - 3:00pm), one late shift (choice of 12:00pm - 8:30pm or 12:30pm - 9:00pm or 1:00pm - 9:30pm or 1:30pm - 10:00pm), and one weekend day (choice of Saturday or Sunday, 8:00am - 4:30pm) per month, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, Residential Units
