NORTHEAST DELTA HUMAN SERVICES AUTHORITY MISSION:
Serve as a catalyst for individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive disorders to help realize their full human potential by offering quality, excellent care with greater accessibility.

NEDHSA is a designated approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.
  • 2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000* for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians.
(Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year).

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:
Incumbents are responsible for carrying out these professional duties in accordance with generally accepted psychological theories, methods, techniques and practices. They are professionally accountable for the application of said standards and for the accuracy and reliability of the data obtained and basic recommendations made.

Performs psychological diagnoses and treatment; participates, as a member of a patient treatment unit, in staff discussions on patient diagnoses, treatment, and progress.

Administers or reviews results of the full range of diagnostic tests for psychological assessment, interprets results, and prepares psychological evaluations.

Designs and implements programs involving the application of behavior modification principles and techniques.

Consults with related professionals on topics or techniques within areas of specialization.

Conducts organizationally approved research projects of limited scope.
Position-Specific Details:
Applicants will be required to serve a probationary period of not less than 12 months and not more than 24.

International degrees require submission of an equivalency evaluation with the application.
